I made this cake last week for my husband - can I just say, incredible! It was rich and moist and delicious without being too sweet or oily. He said it was the best pound cake he's ever eaten and boy is he picky! My daughter loved it - she kept asking for more cake - it was perfect to just slice her a sliver for dessert! It was delicious by itself with a cup of coffee, and for him, I sprinkled it with some confectioner's sugar and added fresh strawberries. Delicious! This is a recipe I will definitely hang onto!
