1/3 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. sifted flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. flaked coconut
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.Sift
together flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients
to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in coconut. Spread in greased and
floured 8 inch square baking pan.
Bake in 350 degree oven 30
minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in
pan on rack. Cut in 2 inch squares. Makes 16 squares.

Cream
butter and sugar. Then add 1 cup flour and eggs and mix well. Add the
rest and bake in greased 9x13 inch pan at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.

1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 4 tbsp. confectioners sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. chopped nuts 3/4 c. coconut 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla
Mix
butter, 1 cup flour, and confectioners sugar. Press into pan; bake at
350 degrees for 15 minutes. Mix all remaining ingredients together;
spread over top of baked crust, and return to oven. Bake for 20-30
minutes. Cut while hot.
